Laguna truck Backorders
We carry thousands of items in inventory and strive to have our stock items available for shipment at all times. If some items that you have ordered are temporarily out of stock at the time we ship your order, we will note an item ordered but not shipped. We will also note any item "no longer available." We do not provide advanced notification of an item being back ordered, and unless we hear from you to the contrary, we will ship the backordered item as soon as it is available.

  • If anything is out of stock we will cancel it from the order unless you make a note in the instructions section [Step 3 of Checkout] to be contacted first.
  • A Back Order shipment is subject to a separate Shipping Charge


"UPS"
UPS in this context applies to UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other similar parcel delivery services.
  1. All small parcel shipments are subject to a single $4.95 packing and handling fee plus the actual shipping cost.

  2. "UPS" orders will not be sent COD if the UPS shipping fee (including UPS' COD fee) exceeds $20.

  3. Kiln furniture shipped via UPS or any other non LTL Ground Shipping option is subject to a 20% custom packing fee in addition to the standard $4.95 packing and handling fee. This is due to the extreme measures that must be performed to ensure the safe transport of these items. This category includes shelves, setters, and bisque tiles (not kiln posts).

Catalog Section "F"
Since our last print catalog was introduced, we've experienced a barrage of shipping increases, fuel surcharges, etc. As a result Section F items will also include the actual cost of shipping. As always, we will attempt to provide you with the least expensive shipping option.

Express Shipments
Express shipments are charged at the actual cost of freight plus a small handling fee (Additional details below).

Truckload, Container, LTL and LCL Shipments
Laguna/Axner has negotiated the best possible freight rates for our customers. Because we ship freight collect, you don't pay your freight bill until the order arrives, and you never pay more than the freight company's invoice. If you want to confirm the time and date of your delivery, let us know, and we'll make sure the freight company contacts you prior to delivery.
  1. Schools submitting authorized purchases orders will receive prepaid freight at the actual cost of that freight.

  2. No COD: No orders shipped by common carrier are sent COD.

  3. A $10 pallet deposit (refundable when returned) will apply to every pallet shipped.

  4. Kiln furniture shipped under this category is subject to a "packing and handling" fee of 15% or $40 minimum, whichever is greater.
Shipping/Freight Damage – Upon delivery, and before signing the delivery receipt, thoroughly inspect your freight. If merchandise is damaged, please make notation of damage on the delivery receipt. Then notify Laguna Clay of the damage if PREPAID shipment. For COLLECT shipments, please contact Freight Company directly to report damages and process claim.

Credit Card Payment for Kiln or Drop Ship Equipment Orders
Any kiln or drop ship equipment being purchased with a credit card will be charged 50% as a down payment, and then the balance when it ships.

Export Shipments
Export shipments are arranged on an individual basis. Customer is responsible for Freight, Duties, Taxes and Customs Clearance to Final Destination.
We cannot ship via USPS to a Freight Forwarder.

Shipping Quotes
We are happy to help you figure out the shipping charges on your order. However, quotes are just estimates, any overage will be charged to the customer.

Will Call Order Curbside Pick Up
Please place your order online a day or two in advance so we can have it pulled and ready for you when you arrive.

We will notify you when your order is ready to be picked up. After notification, if after 30 days of no contact or notice of pick-up, order will be considered abandoned.

**Note: For large or heavy orders that weigh 150 lbs. or more, we will advise you of the approximate freight cost. You will not be charged until we verify shipping costs with you.**
  • Apologies for any inconvenience: We currently do not offer Expedited Shipping Options.
  • USPS shipping options are available for most items or overseas shipments. Transit times and delivery are not guaranteed.
  • Customer is responsible for Freight, Duties, Taxes/Customs Clearance to Destination.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping and handling prices for sales will differ from our catalog policy if you buy heavy items or specify expedited shipping.
    • Orders cannot be sent via Parcel Post.
  • [SHIPS MFG], [SHIPS CA], [SHIPS OH], or [SHIPS CA/OH]: Products with any of these tags are stocked and shipped from a location other than our Oviedo, Florida warehouse.
    • [SHIPS MFG]: These products ships directly from their manufacturer.
    • [SHIPS CA]: These products ships directly from the Laguna Clay Co. warehouse in City of Industry, California.
    • [SHIPS OH]: These products ships directly from the Laguna Clay Co. warehouse in Byesville, Ohio.
    • [SHIPS CA/OH]: These products are stocked in both the California and Ohio Laguna Clay Co. warehouses. We will ship from the closest location possible to save you on freight costs.
  • We reserve the right to adjust the shipping method if set inappropriately.
  • (Best Way) Shipping Method: We will find the safest and most economical way to ship your order. The cost for this option will not show up in the Shopping Cart totals.
  • (Show Me) Shipping Method: Use this option to inquire about approximate shipping costs or additional methods available. We will contact you.
    The cost for this option will not show up in the Shopping Cart totals.
  • (LTL Collect Truck Freight) Shipping Method: Large, bulky or very heavy items may need to be shipped via an LTL carrier. We will find the safest and most economical way to ship your order and contact you with estimates before shipping. The cost for this option will not show up in the Shopping Cart totals.
  • (Will Call Curbside Pick-up): Submit your order online a day or 2 prior to pick-up from our Oviedo, FL showroom. Business days only.
  • (Hotel Deliveries): We apologize for any inconvenience; we cannot deliver orders to a hotel or Resort.

    • Note: *Package tracking is not always available with Other and Standard Ground shipping methods.

Sales Tax
  • Applies to all showroom sales and shipments made to an address within the states of California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin except for resellers for whom we have on file a valid Reseller Exemption Certificate and exempt governmental agencies for which we also have an exemption certificate. The appropriate sales tax will be charged unless we have a copy of you or your agencies certificate in our possession.
