Olympic Gas Raku Kilns
May also be used for high temp stoneware firings
and bisque firings.
What every potter's been waiting for...a kiln that bisques, high fires (cone
10), reduces, and best of all is especially designed for raku work. It's
clean, efficient, and effortless. The insulation material is insulated fire
brick which makes this kiln much more durable than raku kilns of fiber design.
The Olympic Raku Kiln can operate with either natural gas or propane. The
chamber measures 17.5" wide by 22.5" high. The top of the firing chamber
can be easily elevated by the turn of a hand wrench. This allows easy access
to the firing chamber while trapping the heat in the kiln and away from
the operator. Uses 18” gas shelves. The Olympic Raku Kiln comes with a one
year warranty. Shelving and an ignition ring-thermocouple safety shut-off
are available options.
