1Percentages retained on Tyler sieves are derived from average production figures and do not represent specifications. The lower the sieve number, the more coarse the grog. |
This material will change in volume as it's heated, going through an irreversible increase in volume of 1-9% as the raw grain size increases. This increase starts at approx 1250°C and ends at 1400°C. Kyanite decomposes into Mullite at 2750°F.
* Note: Ships from our California or Ohio locations.
**Note: For large or heavy orders that weigh 150 lbs. or more, we will advise you of the approximate freight cost. You will not be charged until we verify shipping costs with you.**
