The bead bar is made of Nichrome Structural Grade wire. Used to support beads, rings and many other small articles during kiln firing. The Ceramic Bead Bars are designed with a special, high temperature alloy that retains strength in the extreme heat required for ceramic firing. Holds up to Cone 10 temperatures. Approximately 11" long; approx. 0.15" diameter. Support the bar properly.
Wires are intended to support small beads. The higher the firing temperature or the heavier the bead may require more interior supports between the two outside supports.
