Wax Resist for Batik Glazing
(Replaces the former product “Glaze Line”)
This popular technique produces beautiful tiles. The black wax creates a
beautiful pattern that contains and separates various colored glazes. It
can be applied by pen, brush, or for high production you can silk screen
it onto tiles! |

Apply
Waxline, Black or Clear, wax resist to your tiles or pottery with brush strokes;
or for repeat designs with a silk screen and silk screen consistency Waxline. Apply different colored glazes
within the black outlines. After firing, depending on which Waxline you use, you will have a multi-colored
picture, outlined in black or the color of the clay body! |

| The Black
Waxline is being brushed onto a tile. For multiple copies, Waxline may be
silk screened onto the tile. Small amounts of Waxline can go a long way! |
Glaze
is applied with a syringe or eye dropper. The Waxline separates the different
colored glazes, allowing them to be next to each other without flowing together. |
This fired
tile contains a striking multi-colored picture, outlined in black. The break
between glaze and line is sharp and well defined. |
