It has a 1/6 HP permanent magnet motor giving it a centering capacity of 50 lbs when mounted to a sturdy work surface and the same 14" aluminum wheel head, 2-pin bat system, and speed controller as Soldner's studio potter's wheels. It is constructed with sealed ball bearings and a heavy-duty pulley/V-belt drive. Can be used with a Brent Splash Pan.
