Arlene Siegel, nationally-known sculptor, lecturer and teacher presents her second Sculpture Classroom video. Using stoneware clay, Siegel demonstrates her sculpting techniques as she takes the student through the steps necessary to sculpt the full figure.

Siegel employs the same easy-to-follow method used in her first Sculpture Classroom video where she detailed the steps required to sculpt the head of a boy.

In this video, the artist goes beyond the head to the full female figure, placing emphasis on common problem areas at the shoulders, feet and hands. Step-by-step, in clear and detailed close ups, the artist makes it easy for the viewer to follow through to the completion of a full female figure.

Siegel studied sculpture in the United States and in England. Since opening the Arlene Siegel Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Siegel has been teaching for the Institute of American Indian Arts and Santa Fe Clay. She teaches private students in her Santa Fe Studio and gives workshops across the country. She is founder and President of the Eldorado Arts & Crafts Association in New Mexico.
