Quad Element System option
The Quad Element System provides a massively robust element for long life under production conditions. The Quad element system provides four wraps of elements in one 9" high section. When coupled with L&L's element holder which transmits heat, and the fact that the element outside diameter is almost a full 1/2" - this is arguably the best element on the market for top-loading kilns. It has been used in L&L's JH Series kilns for several years now - and under the rigorous conditions of high temperature crystalline glaze firing - element life of over 130 firings with standard A-1 alloy have been normal.
