Silicon Carbide Bench Grinding Wheel. 6 inch diameter by 0.75 inches thick. 80 grit.
This grinding wheel will allow you to grind glaze or flaws off your finished pottery with remarkable ease. Your pottery stays cooler while being ground than with other types of grinding wheels, thus there is less cracking and chipping.

WARNINGS:

• Wear face shield and safety goggles or glasses when using this wheel. This applies to ALL people in work area.
• DO NOT exceed RPM marked on wheel (4140 RPM for a 6 inch wheel).
• If wheel is dropped, dispose of it at once. Hair line fractures endanger operator.
• Use machine guard with this wheel.
• DO NOT use larger wheel than the machine is designed for.
• Always use backing pad of correct size. Pad must NEVER be smaller than fiber and paper backed discs diameter.
• Will fit arbor shafts of 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4"
