The Studio Pro 24 builds on Evenheat's Dual Access Design and offers the glass artist a large studio kiln uniquely designed for full, unrestricted access. The Studio Pro 24 features front and top access, a wall-free design, Rampmaster control with Swing View, wonderfully large handles and lift assist all wrapped up in a well engineered and tested design.
Features
Front Access
The defining and most dramatic feature of the Studio Pro 24 is the front opening design. Front opening offers the glass artist unrestricted and wall-free access directly to the kiln floor. Front access is perfect for glass placement, particularly with glass that can't be disturbed once placed. Simply build on your shelf and close the chamber. Front access is also great when using manipulation tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking or glass roll ups.
Top Access
As part of the Studio Pro design concept the Studio Pro 24 offers top access. Top access comes in very handy when using manipulation tools that require a vertical approach such as glass embossing or when loading glass forms. It's also very useful for venting purposes.
Wall-Free Design
With front access, the Studio Pro 24 offers the artist a wall-free work surface. The wall-free design provides wide open space for the precision placement of your glass. There's nothing to fight or work around. It's an incredible design feature that essentially defines the Studio Pro 24.
Handles
The Studio Pro 24 is fitted with two wide and sturdy bar handles. These corner mounted handles are placed well away from the kiln for easy operation.
Fiber Lid Construction
The lid of the Studio Pro 24 is constructed of a special fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design also allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency.
We position our lid heating elements left to right to prevent them from sagging or bunching-up with repeated opening and closing. It's a small but important detail that guarantees performance and satisfaction over the life of the kiln.
Set-Pro w/ Express Mode Controller Option
The Studio Pro 24 can be equipped with the Set-Pro w/ Express Mode, 3 button control. Express Mode offers the artist easy 3 step programming. Simply select your glass COE, firing style and speed and the Set-Pro automatically develops your firing program. It's quick, easy and accurate.
The Set-Pro also features custom programming and firing adjustments that allow you to add time, temperature or skip directly to the anneal.
Rampmaster w/ Express Mode Controller Option
The Studio Pro 24 can alternately be equipped with the Rampmaster w/ Express Mode controller. The Rampmaster w/ Express Mode was designed exclusively for glass work. Express Mode offers an easy, 3 step programming process. Simply key in your glass COE, firing style and firing speed to create the firing program. It's quick, it's easy and it's accurate.
The Rampmaster with Express Mode also features many single key features like Skip Ahead, Add Time, Add Temp and Alarm. Of course the Rampmaster continues to offer Custom Mode programming for full artistic control. The Rampmaster with Express Mode has set a new standard for glass kiln design and control.
Spring Assited Lift
To assist in front opening the Studio Pro 24 includes a spring assist feature. This well designed mechanism travels cleanly and does not pull the artist into the kiln like lesser designs.
In the heat of battle you need a smooth and anxious-free movement and the Studio Pro 24 delivers.
Stout Hinge Design
The Studio Pro 24 chamber pivot point is secured to the base of the kiln, not the floor. This strong and sturdy pivot supports the load easily and is reinforced internally for exceptional strength.
This chamber pivot point is critical to the overall performance and life of the kiln. It's the details that make Evenheat "Better by Design".
Corner Mounting Design
The corners of the kiln body and lid provide excellent strength for mounting. The flat sides of the kiln don't offer this strength, especially on square shaped kilns.
Evenheat installs the load bearing hinges, spring assist and lid handle brackets on those corners for that reason. Longer life, high reliability: solid design makes a difference.
Swing View Adjustable Control
The Swing View Adjustable Control is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows the user to rotate the Rampmaster control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. It's that simple. You’re going to really enjoy this feature.
The Swing View Adjustable Control is stock equipped on the Studio Pro 24.
Power Interrupt Switch
The Studio Pro 24 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if either the lid or chamber is opened. This is important for those who may access the kiln during firing such as glass manipulation and roll-ups.
Well Designed Stand
Kiln stands tend to get overlooked. The stand on the Studio Pro 24 is more than a simple stand and was engineered from the ground up to take the loads and requirements of use.
The Studio Pro 24 stand is permanently attached to the kiln base itself and is shipped completely assembled. There are no temporary or quick release fasteners, fasteners such as these are prone to failure. It's a solid design that quietly does its job.
