Creative Industries Grinder Kit This method uses a 3 inch wide silicon carbide grinding
belts. These belts slide over a special 8 inch diameter rubber-backed
grinder. This grinder is mounted on an arbor shaft which is installed
on the shaft of a 1/3 HP motor, complete with cord and switch. Because
of the flexability of the belt and rubber backing, this system grinds
the entire bottom of the piece smooth as silk. Very quick- 2 seconds per
mug bottom. |

"Green Wheel" Silicon Carbide Bench Wheel This grinding wheel will allow you to grind glaze or flaws off your
finished pottery with remarkable ease. Your pottery stays cooler while
being ground than with other types of grinding wheels, thus there is less
cracking and chipping. We get rave reviews for this product! 6 inches
x 3/4 inch. |

Grinding DisksThis method uses 13 inch diameter grinding discs with a peel-off adhesive backing. You affix this disc to any 13 inch bat which is then attached to the wheel head. Grinding is done at the highest wheel head speed. The 50 grit takes off material fastest (including small glaze drips) while the 80 grit gives the smoothest finish. These discs have relatively slow production rates, example - 10 seconds per mug bottom. |

The GrinderThere is finally a cheap, easy, and convenient way to take care of the rough bottoms, sharp edges and all the little blips that seem to sprout out in the fire. "The Grinder" works and we guarantee it or your money back. "The Grinder" is formulated in a way so that as it is used, a portion of it gradually wears away, constantly exposing a new cutting surface. Just wet the grinder, along with your pot and rub away. After smoothness is obtained, rinse pot with water. This method creates less dust, and is thus healthier than other grinding methods. 2 inch top diameter, 3 inch bottom diameter, 1.75 inches thick. |
