A protective
coating for kiln shelves and other areas inside the kiln that may be subjected
to dripping glaze during firing. Mix this dry compound with water to a creamy
consistency and apply with a brush to the top side of kiln shelves. Sometimes
kiln wash is used in the decorative process of pots and handbuilt pieces. Apply frequently to give maximum protection. |
