This monolithic cast wheel is made of concrete. The flywheel, shaft, and wheel head are all one piece. The stand is made of high strength, aircraft quality, tempered aluminum; this stand is situated underneath the flywheel and is hidden from view. The bearings are radial and thrust which provides for a very smooth spin. Most suitable for small to medium sized forms. It is great in the pottery studio and small enough to take to art shows, bring out to the garden for the day, or anywhere else. It also makes an excellent banding wheel.
